Surf Taiwan Kornschütte Venue Rules for Vendors

Surf-Taiwan will take place in historically very valuable venues of the city of Lucerne. The use of these venues is detailed in three documents. Vendors are liable for any damage!

Heritage protection

  • No use of nails, screws, clamps, adhesive tapes, etc.
  • Cables must be laid in cable ducts (no adhesive tapes!).
  • Loads must be carried (no trolleys allowed, no pulling or pushing).
  • The floor must be protected from spills (use carpets, catch basins).
  • The floor must be cleaned immediately in case of spills by damp cloths (only water).
  • There is a strict smoke ban (tobacco, vapes, candles, incense, etc.).
  • Animals are strictly prohibited.

Access, storage, disposal

  • The access to the town hall does not require a permit for unloading in the morning.
  • The stands may be set up between 08:00 and 09:00.
  • Between 09:00 and 17:00 all corridors and escape routes must be kept free. No large objects may be transported during this time.
  • The stands may be dismantled between 17:00 and 18:00.
  • The access to the town hall requires a permit after the event. Contact TAS for this.
  • There are no separate storage areas. Everything must be stored at the stand.
  • There are several refrigerators for food available. Contact TAS if fride space is needed.
  • Leftover food and green waste must be disposed of by yourself. Household waste is disposed of in the house.

Stand/Service

  • Above each stand, an A1-sized poster informs about the stand. Stand operators can design the poster themselves and send it to TAS as a PDF. TAS will organize the printing and hanging of the poster.
  • Production and sale of food must comply with professional standards and rules.
  • Cooking at the stand is prohibited ( rice cookers and food warming boxes are allowed). There is a household oven available on site that can be booked: contact TAS if needed.
  • If you need electricity at the stand, book it in advance with TAS.
  • Each stand can be provided with a table 180 x 75 cm and two chairs. Contact TAS if you need them.
  • Each stand has a carpet measuring 2 x 3 meters. The stand must be completely set up within this carpet.

License

  • The preparation and sale of food must comply with professional hygiene standards and relevant regulations.
  • Vendors without a license will be guided by Lotus Garden Restaurant in Zurich and are required to provide the following details for each food stall:
    • Items to be sold
    • Food description / ingredients
    • Source of ingredients (country of origin & supplier)
    • Food control measures (e.g. refrigeration, oil temperature control, preparation on site)
    • Shelf life
    • Allergens, such as:
      • Gluten
      • Eggs
      • Milk
      • Garlic
      • Peanuts
      • Onions
      • Bell peppers
